How To Destroy Angels

Trent Reznor has done it again with his new band HOW TO DESTROY ANGELS. This newly anticipated band consist of Trent Reznor from Nine Inch Nails, lead vocals Mariqueen Maandig formerly from West Indian Girl. I had to find this from Rock It Out Blog's Youtube Channel. I was in amazment that trent was trying something new outside of Nine Inch Nails.

                                      HTDA are T. Reznor, A. Ross & M. Maandig

The first song I heard from How To Destroy Angels was "A Drowning". From beginning to end I was entrance by the lyrics and sound. I must say it is different from Nine Inch Nails but you can still here just a little bit of the NIN signature sound. I feel like its more like a very stripped down sound of Nine Inch Nails. I don't know why I just do. Mariqueen's voice is just pure with a hint of . . . experience. Its like you can clearly hear her tell you a story but without really telling you what its about. Its like you just know already. And I love that. Here is the song posted below from MickVon666 on youtube enjoy!

The Second song was "Space In Between". OMG, I saw this music video official released by the band and was just awe struck but the concept of it. This has to be the most original video I've ever seen. I just have to give kudos to the person responsible for the fire scenes. How the Mariqueen just sat there and let the flame consume her entire body along with Trent Reznor was just amazing (I know its not real) but the way it was excuted was just freakin amazing. To all who hasn't seen this video please watch it. I've posted the video below

Work in progress . . .

Greetings,

I want to start off by saying that there are a lot of things that I am working on to make this site work. There will be a Myspace page, Blog TV page and this site. I want us to be able to talk about lot of things a share information, like on concert and events as well as new music from new bands you think that we all might like. I am always open to new music.

Also I don't want to leave out films as well as reading material. I think everyone deserve to hear about a cool new movie or an older one that maybe we haven't seen yet. Even a book or two, I just want to make sure that this . . . . forum is open to anything entertainment related. Now if there are photos, audio clips and video clips as well I don't think it will be a problem, I just have to check it first and make sure its suitable for this site, but I don't think its going to be a problem anyway. I would really like to have everyone enjoy this site.

Later in the coming weeks there will be a rough draft of The Invaders Asylum Site guidelines that will be implemented. I don't think it will do much restricting but maybe more respecting others on this site as well as the content they put up. Of course everyone will have credit for what they decide to share no one will be denied that. And of course no one is allowed to take someones photo, audio and video clip as theirs when its not. those caught will be banned from the site.

So hopefully we can all have fun and experience an awesome ride on Invaders Asylum

To Connect

Greetings,

Hopefully with this blog I can connect with you guys on what we all like and probably should have in common which is music, movies, comic and books. . . maybe. So I might share with you guys on the next couple of blogs about what this should be about.

I want this blog to be about experiences we've had involving the four subjects I've just mention above.
  • Music that either help us in our time of sadness, wanting to see that band in concert live, or just find new sound to listen too.
  • Movies that touch our hearts and our souls, makes us laugh and cry or because it was just so damn unbelievable.
  • Comics for their impeccable art work and attention to detail and story lines.
  • Finally books that can be an escape from reality. It's actually where you can be anyone or anything you want to be.
I know I know . . . . there is lack of photos here on this blog. That's because I am at the library and they've disabled some of the programs involving cut & paste and uploading images on to this page. So I literally have to go else where to get all that done.
Like I said my computer is fucked up :)

Greetings,

Just I thought I'd drop an update about the latest HIM Album potential release date. The working album Screamworks: Love in theroy & Practice is set to drop in Feb 2010. There is even speculation that it might come out on Valentine's Day or the week of Valentine's Day. I fine this news exciting and can't wait to add it to my collection HIM Disography.

On there www.youtube.com/HIM page there is a video of Lead singer Ville Valo himself official announcing the release of the new album. And on the http://www.heartagram.com/ page there is a partial list of the songs tracks displayed on the site. And of course ig your too lazy to check it out yourself I'll just list them here for you guys.

HIM (Official Track List, so far . . . )

Screamworks: Love in Theroy & Practice

Tracks:
1. In Venere Veritas
2. Scared to Death
3. HeartKiller
4. Dying Song

Note: The album has a total of 13 tracks so this is just a sneak peek of what is to come form this amazing finnish band.
